When a member of the Department of External Affairs is to tour a member of the foundation or a Class-D, the tour is recognized as a “personnel tour”. These tours are focused on demonstrating the features of the facility to ordinary personnel who would like a better look at the facility, though they are less cautious and focused. When qualified as a personnel tour, no special privileges are to be allocated to the attendees that would otherwise be unnecessary.
During a personnel tour, members of the department are to be attentive to their attendees, ensuring that they properly understand the location and have observed the features. Locations that are considered trespassing should not be toured unless given explicit permission by the Executive Ambassador.
When touring the Light, Medium, and Heavy Containment Zone, an Eta-9 Operative must be present at all times-all orders given are to be followed without question.
When demonstrating SCPs at this magnitude, the event must be coordinated in advance, with all parties being ready (i.e combatives, actor(s), etc).
In larger tours, it is required that Lambda-7 be convened in order to transport the personnel on the HEMTT [Flatbed]. A convoy may be used alternatively with the permission from a Director General or above.
Following the completion of a personnel tour, the Class-D attendees (if applicable) must be paid based on their behavior and cooperation. This applies to both tour participants and demonstrators.
Tours hosted for foreign representatives are known as "Diplomatic Tours", which are tendered to the direct needs and/or requests of the representatives. The specific details on Diplomatic Tours are documented internally and are thus classified.
